The Poster session has been extended to all PhD students in order to increase participation and promote responses to the themes launched by the IEEE groups: YPs AG (Young Professionals Affinity Group), IDEA TC (Inspire, Develop, Empower, and Advance Technical Committee) and WIE AG (Women in Engineering Affinity Group).

To spotlight and encourage early‑career scientists whose remote‑sensing research demonstrably supports environmental stewardship and long‑term sustainability—whether by monitoring ecosystems, enabling climate‑change mitigation, improving resource management, or informing green policies.

Equity in Innovation Award
Honouring pioneering remote‑sensing solutions purpose‑built to benefit under‑served communities and promote fairness in geoscience
3-) WIE Affinity Group
Emerging Horizons Award
Recognising exceptional early‑career research that propels new frontiers in remote sensing through inclusive, cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
Therefore the PhD students can present their research but reformulated based on these themes and their impact with reference to them.
